It all started with Diana Krall (http://www.dianakrall.com/) in Basel... it was a magneficient concert.
Then came Cesaria Evora (http://www.cesaria-evora.com/) in Zurich - it felt like being home, she came out on stage bare feet (as always), didn't acknowledge the applauds, didn't bow what-so-ever. Mid concert after presenting the musicians, sat at a table, lightened up a cigarette while listening the band. At the end, she simply left without saying Thank you or even a small bow.
And it all ended with Murray Perahia (yes! http://www.murrayperahia.com/) with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields (http://www.asmf.org/) in Basel... A great performance!
At last I felt good living here in Switzerland and finding options, concerts and fun!
