first traffic violantion fine

Imagine, 8.30 pm, the day before you fly for a long vacation in Japan, biking back home from work and ... you are stopped by the police because you bike against the traffic on a completely empty street which is supposed to be one way street (although the tram line is both ways). And the "polite and non racial" police even checked my permit because of the nationality listed. no comments..
